We are always in urgent need of suitable foster families who are able to help give a dog (or sometimes cat) a loving temporary home. The benefit for the rescue pet is invaluable and includes helping to work on training, socialisation and most importantly giving comfort for one the most stressful times of their lives. Most dogs who have been in a foster home generally transition well into their forever home.
Fostering doesn’t have to be long term either – it could be a week or two respite care over the holidays or fostering until your new canine friend finds his or her forever home.
Fostering can be such a rewarding experience and has all the benefits of helping an animal in need without being a life-long commitment; if you are not in that position to give an animal a permanent home.
During the time you are fostering an animal from us you will be provided with everything from food and leads to any needed vet treatment required.*
Would you like to find out more about fostering? Please call us on 01823 490333 to speak to a member of our team!
(Foster careers must live within a 15 mile radius of the rescue centre)
* brought to our vet for any necessary treatment.
