Thousands of animals are lost every year and many of them never get reunited with their owners as they have no identification.

A tiny chip (about the same size as a grain of rice) is implanted under the animal’s skin whilst they are awake, it is just like giving them an injection. This chip will stay within the animal’s body and have a unique number that is registered on a central database with your name, contact numbers and address. This allows anyone that recovers your animal i.e Vets, RSPCA, Dog Wardens etc. to know who the animal belongs to and get them back to you.

Micro chipping is permanent identification and it is recommended that all pets are chipped, you can chip dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, horses and even birds. It will also help identify your pet if they were ever to get stolen. It is very easy to do, harmless to your pet and is cheap to do.

It is very important that you make sure that the database have your correct details, if you move or change your contact numbers you must let them know so they can update your records.
