When we were asked to take this super boy Moss in for re homing we were a little surprised… 11 month old Shih Tzu who had 5 previous homes!!!

When Moss arrived at the centre on the 24th February, we immediately introduced him to Allison, our Shih Tzu expert & Veterinary Nurse who not only adores Shih Tzu’s – but has 5 of her own!

Moss was a perfect gentleman at the vets having his kennel cough vaccination and then an introduction to one of Allison’s dogs, Holley. Moss, again was a super boy and loved Allison’s dog.

We had been told that Moss was a very naughty boy in the house and was impossible to house train!?! It is very difficult in a kennel environment to help with training for this, so we asked one of our most experienced foster carers Jayne, who came straight to the rescue and collected precious Moss.

He was brilliant with her own dogs and another little dog that she’s fostering for us. He adores her grandchildren and has been really good with her cats. We also understand from Jayne that he was a very good boy overnight, he used the puppy pad and didn’t make a mess anywhere!!

We will be looking for a very special home for Moss in which he can continue with his training and where he will NEVER have to go through the trauma of being re-homed again.
