Norma is a special girl of around 3-5 years of age. She is a crossbreed who was straying for 8 months before coming into rescue. Her injured tail and shoulders and her fear of humans suggest that she may be an ex Eastern European street dog. Since being in foster she has made significant progress in and will shortly be looking for that special home – either with someone experienced with fearful/abused dogs or someone that is prepared to learn.
She is a sweet, gentle dog that needs a calm environment, a reasonable size secure garden, and at least one small/medium confident dog to help her adjust to living in a home. She loves lying in the sun and paddling in water, she is still very unsure about human contact but once you have gained her trust she likes being stroked and having her belly tickled. She has the potential to be a very faithful, loving dog – she just needs time and patience.
