Duke is such a sweet boy who is looking for a new home after being found as a stray, so we don’t know anything about his past, or how he will react in the home, or if he can be left on his own. He is friendly when meeting new people (apart from the vet!) and seems fine around other dogs, so may be able to share a home with another dog if the match is right.
It is not known what he is like with cats or young children, so a home without either would be best for him, but he potentially could live with children over the age of 12 years.
We have noticed that Duke is does chase shadows but this could be due to boredom, so he would benefit from mental as well as physical stimulation in order to reduce this behaviour. He would love to go out for trips in the car where he can run and play once he has bonded with his new owner and good recall has been achieved. We all think that Duke is a great little dog who will provide hours of fun once settled into his new home.
