“Who remembers reading about young cat Misty? She had arrived at St Giles Animal Rescue with her sister Pixie and they were hoping to find a new home together. I promised Pixie it would be her turn to be in the limelight next, so here she is.
I was visiting these two again today and while Misty was snoozing in bed, pretty Pixie was full of beans and clearly loved having some company. Pixie came and sat on the bench beside me and I told her I’d heard they had a home lined up, so she decided she’d better sit on my lap for some serious loving She was purring and snuggling while I fussed her and she especially liked being stroked and tickled under her chin.
The next thing I knew, one of their kind St Giles Animal Rescue carers arrived to collect this lucky pair, as it was time for them to depart for their new home already!
Be happy, Pixie and Misty, our friendship was short and sweet, and now it’s time for you to go off and enjoy your new lives. Who knows, perhaps you’ll send us a postcard?” JANE – Cattery Volunteer
