Welcome Minnie & Daffie

These two gorgeous girls arrived at the Rescue Centre, as strays, on the 13th January. Both severely underweight at around 10kg, very cold, starving and completely exhausted. They were immediately checked over by the Vet! Minnie (grey) is estimated around 1 year old and Daffie (brindle) around 3 years. Even though they were in such an appalling condition and had been through a traumatic ordeal they were so trusting and just wanted lots of cuddles, its as if they truly new they were now safe 🥺https://stgilesanimalrescue.co.uk/adoptions/

The girls needed constant monitoring, 5 times a day feeds, regular weight checks and additional heat and blankets. But we are very pleased to now report that they have both put on 3 – 4kg and the vet is a lot happier with their condition and overall health.

So, both Minnie and Daffie are now ready to find the loving, forever homes they so deserve. They are both sweet girls that can potentially live with older children and other dogs of a similar size and temperament. They will need time, understanding and patience whilst they settle into a new environments. We don’t know if either of these girls have ever experienced home comforts so they may possibly need house training as well. If you can give either, or both, of these girls the time, love and cuddles they so clearly crave please visit our adoption page where you will find additional information and an online application form. 🐾❤🐾
